DU 2021 Online Examinations: Important Instructions for Applicants | Education
DU exams online 2021: The University of Delhi online exams start on Monday March 15, 2021. The university posted guidelines for the 2021 Open Book Semester Exam on Sunday March 14 on its official website.
As per the guidelines, students will be required to answer questions on A4 size papers and mark the page numbers at the top of each page.
On the first page, the student should write the following details:
a. Exam date and time
b. Exam roll number
vs. Program name i.e. BA, B.Com., B.Sc. (Hons./Pass), etc.
e. Unique paper code (UPC)
F. Title of the article
g. Name of College / Institute
h. Student email ID
I. Student’s mobile number
“The duration of the exam will be 4 hours. Of which 3 hours will be allocated for students to answer the questions, and the remaining hour will be used to download the quizzes, scan the answer sheet in PDF / JPEG format, and by uploading the scanned PDF / JPEG of the answer sheets to the portal. The duration of the exam will be 6 hours for students belonging to the Divyaang (PwBD) category, “the official guidelines read.
Instructions for candidates opting for Distance Mode (Home):
(i) Candidates can take the exam from any part of the country.
(ii) Students will need a laptop / desktop / cell phone / other suitable device with adequate internet connectivity to access the university portal, download the question paper and download the test sheets. answers.
(iii) Students will need to scan the answer sheet per question and upload the respective PDF / JPEG file to the OBE portal, the file size of each answer must be within the limit of 7MB. Only PDF / JPEG format without word password will be accepted.
(iv) A system generated acknowledgment will be sent to the student’s registered email address after submission of answer sheets to the portal.
(v) Students who have opted for the remote mode (home) will not be allowed to attend in physical mode (university).
Instructions for applicants opting for Physical Mode (College):
(i) Candidates will be required to take the exam at their respective colleges / institutes according to the seating plan prescribed by the college / institute.
(ii) Applicants will be provided with all ICT facilities including a computer by the college / institute to upload question paper, scan answer sheets and upload answer sheets to the OBE portal.
(iii) Candidates must bring A4 size sheets to write the answers.
(iv) Students who have opted for Physical (College) Mode may appear in Distance (Home) Mode if they wish.
